Betty has been a bright, loving light in my life for over 50 years. She is the Aunt/Big Sister/second Mom to my wife, Kathy, and we treasured every moment we had with her. I will always remember Betty’s big smile, delightful sense of humor, her courage and strength as well as the love and support she gave everyone around her. I will be forever thankful that Betty, her sister Mary (my mother in law) and Uncle Bob gave me such a warm welcome into their family and allowed me to share in their lives. Betty, you are missed and will be forever loved....thank you for the light you brought into my life.

Our family will always cherish our times of seeing Betty at Millar’s sporting events with her infectious smile and positive spirit . She was so gracious and kind to our son Jack and he warmed up to her instantly to her because of it which he almost never does . I remember a few lunches we had together and how she always made a point to ask about our family and everyone else despite her own courageous battle with ALS . Over the years we exchanged cards and well wishes and it was always a highlight for us to read a note from Betty . Our prayers are with the entire family and we thank you for sharing her with us The Goerke Family
