Betty Jean Conroy

Betty Jean "BJ" Conroy (nee Corbin) from Palos Heights, IL formally of Lake Forest, IL passed away peacefully on March 19, 2017. Born on July 14, 1934 to Charles and Elizabeth Corbin; sister to the late Virginia and Charlotte; survived by her loving brother, Chuck, along with many nieces and nephews. Betty was 14 years old when she met the love of her life and on February 19,1955 she began a long and happy life with her devoted husband, Bob. Together Bob and BJ raised their 7 children, Mark, Doreen (Larry) Olewinski, Beth, Kevin (Rhea), Chris, Tim (Lana) and Leeann. Family was everything to BJ and that is why she was thrilled and honored to be Grammie Beautiful to her 19 grandchildren, Rachel (Mike) Mowbray, Ryan, Shea (Michael) Sullivan, Katelyn (Fiancée Randy), Rylee, Kelly, Christian, Kelsey, Tim (Krista), Daniel, Nick, Tyler, Dylan, Haley, Hanna, Abby, Nora, Claudia and Grace and her 5 great-grandchildren, Corbin, Tucker, Colton, Quinn and Jack. Whether you called her Betty, BJ, Aunt Betty, Mom, G-Ma or Grammie Beautiful she will be missed by all. We will hold her memory close to our hearts as she proceeds with her journey in Heaven. "St. Michael Be Your Guide." Betty Jean had a smile that anyone who saw her loved. She will be missed by more people than we will ever know.

Funeral Saturday, March 25 at 10:35 a.m. from Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W 103rd St, Oak Lawn, IL to St. Alexander Church, 7025 W 126th St, Palos Heights, IL. Mass 11:30 a.m. Interment private.
