Capt. Gabriel A. Rodriguez, 84, of Chicago, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2025. Beloved husband of the late Cuca (Cookie); He was a loving father of Richard, Grace (The late Joseph), Michael (Rocio), Marcus (Jaclyn) and Thomas (Salina) Rodriguez; cherished grandfather of Maria Rodriguez, Pedro (Fransheska) and Jasmine Salamone, Gabriel, Michael, Jr., Olivia, Anthony, Elijah and Mariah; cherished great grandpa of Damien, Jade, and Kenny Jr.; caring son of the late Adeline Rodriguez; fond brother of Lupe (The late Tony) Gonzalez, Marie (Manuel) Zamora, Nadine Zepeda, Chris (Thomas) Pokrajac, Cindy (Fred) Bermejo, Monica Rodriguez and the late Amador "Eddie", Abel, Phillip and David Rodriguez and Gloria (Mario) Siller. Fond uncle, great uncle, great great uncle, nephew and cousin to many.

Visitation will be at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W. 103rd St, Oak Lawn, on Monday, October 20th, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral Prayers Tuesday, October 21st, 2025, at 9:00 am at the funeral home to Our Lady of the Snows Church for 10:00 am Mass, 4810 S. Leamington Ave., Chicago, IL. Interment to follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Evergreen Park, IL.
