Floyd, you probably don't know me. I am Peggy Benoit Rohan, Married to Pat Roban who went to MP. I grew up with Carol. As you know better than anyone, she was a positive influence on everyone around her. Her smile was radiant. She made us laugh and made life so much better.

We are so saddened to learn of Carol’s passing. We have been gone from Chicago for a long time, but we have many fond memories of family gatherings and especially playing games board games together when we were all much younger. We know that there is a great void in your days now, but hope you can take  comfort in all the good times you had together and the knowledge of how much you were loved by Carol and how much joy you shared with her.

Carol was always a good friend and relative. Carol became my sister-in-law  in 1969, when I married her sister Judy. Her brother Johnny, and all of us  were very close. Carol always made me laugh and seemed to make friends wherever she went. She was especially kind to people that others may shun.
I believe the best thing to happen to her is when she married Floyd.
They came together like two peas in a pod.
She couldn't have found a better partner.
Floyd is DEVOTED to her for eternity.
Carol was blessed with two great sons as well.
Carol was also blessed with many friends and relatives, and she will be greatly missed.
It's difficult to grasp that she is gone.

I am so so sorry to hear of Carol’s passing. She was always so kind to me and always made me laugh. I enjoyed all the pictures of her holiday decorating, the food she was preparing and the family that gathered to enjoy it. I will surely miss her!

So sorry for your loss Floyd and your family.  Will miss all the fun times at the American legion in Monticello.  

Mrs. Rimovsky was a friend to many and a mother to all. As a neighborhood kid, her door was always open to us all. Before school, after school, and everything in between. Her home was your home. I will always remember that. My heart aches for the loss her loved ones have to endure. She will always be remembered and adored.

I am so sorry to hear of Carol’s passing. We worked next to each other for a long time in Mt. Greenwood and then I continued to see her for many years as my esthetician. Carol had a huge heart, a vivacious sense of humor and was truly a kind and loving soul. My condolences to all she left behind.

Floyd and family, 
I was saddened to hear of Carol’s passing.  I have many treasured memories of spending time with my cousin during our childhood.  Carol and I were the same age so whenever we had the opportunity to spend time together fun always ensued.  I will continue to cherish these memories always.  May you also find peace through all the precious moments you shared together.  You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

I've known Carol since high school.  She was such a warm, lovely person and will always be remembered for her endearing, wacky sense of humor.  My heart goes out to her family members, and I will keep them in my prayers.

From the moment my wife and I moved into our house in Merrionette Park back in 2020 we knew instantly that we had wonderful neighbors.  The kindness both Carol and Floyd showed us from the start was something special.  We all know her cooking was out of this world.  I will really miss seeing her beautiful smile.  My wife and I feel privileged to have been her neighbor and to have been a part of her life.  

Carol, we will dearly miss you.

My deepest condolences to your entire family! I spent time with Carol while we were in high school and she had a “spark” about her - always fun - always funny.
