

Carolyn “Carole” Ann nee Witous, 88 ,of Oak Lawn, December 13, 2011. She is the beautiful and loving wife of William J. Kenny; beloved mother of William J. (Kathleen) Kenny, Jr., Carolyn (Jack) Ruby, Diane (Steven) Nielsen, Catherine (Robert) Gildner and Robert (Cheryl) Kenny; Preceded in death by her beautiful baby daughter, Debra Teresa Kenny (13 months). Carole is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, George (Helen) Witous. Carole was preceded in death by her father, Joseph, mother, Anna (Wonsiewicz) Witous and brother, John (Rose Gildner and the late Mardell )Witous, brother, Joseph and sister, Alice Witous. Carole attended Academy of Our Lady, Longwood, High School and Mundelein and Rosary College. She was a wonderful homemaker and mother. Carole was an avid fan of her husband’s alma mater, the University of Notre Dame. She was a skilled bridge player, bowler, interest in golfing, passion for sewing and loved to garden. Carole served as an election judge in federal, state and local elections. She will be dearly missed by all. “Angels are often disguised as mothers”.
