Catherine “Kay” Levine, nee Witt (86) passed into eternal life on October 25, 2026. She is survived by her children, Cathy Gillen (Mark), Jay Sanford Levine Jr. (Brenda), Julie O’Shea (Brian); and her stepson, Tommy Psaltakis (Laurie). Proud Yia Yia to Colin Zaremba, John and Sofia O’Shea, and great-grandmother to Adrianna & Nathan Zaremba. Sister to Barbara Kiersey and dear aunt to Kristen and Kevin Kiersey.
Kay Levine was known for her kindness, sense of humor, her generosity and her cooking! She was always willing to help a friend. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved baking and volunteering for the Greek Picnics and the Fall Food Festival and was a dedicated proud member of the St. Helen Women’s Philoptochos of Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30, 2026, at Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church located at 11025 South Roberts Road, Palos Hills from 9:00 am to 10:30 am followed immediately by funeral services. Burial at Evergreen Cemetery located at 3401 West 87th Street, Evergreen Park.
In Lieu of flowers the family requests a donation in Kay’s memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
