To all the "Kenwood Kids"
I am so sorry to hear of Cathy's passing. She was an integral part of all the fun and shenanigans in Quincy. Playing the guitar, singing Irish folk songs, playing Spoons. All fond memories I will always cherish.
Cathy had an enormous heart for loving and giving to all that she encountered. I am truly blessed for all the days spent in her company.
With love and prayers of comfort,
Annie

I will never forget the time we spent together. Laughing, crying, going out to eat and sharing all of life's events. Cathy will always hold a special place in my heart. Cathy's passing leaves a void in my heart that no one will ever be able to fill.

Dear Cousins All,

Our Family was so very sorry to receive the news of Cathy's passing.

Along with you we are deeply saddened. However, we rejoice in knowing that by God's mercy she has been freed from the pain and suffering she endured for so long. She now enjoys eternal love and happiness in the company of all our dearest loved ones who have gone before. And what a greeting it must have been as they welcomed her lovingly into their arms!

Cathy will live on in each and every one of you through your fondest memories of your times spent together and in those of us lucky enough to have known and loved her. Could anyone forget her great smile, quick wit, tenacity, caring spirit and willingness to do whatever was needed, no task too small or too great! She was always there for a visit or to cheer one up! She was a woman of great substance in all ways that truly matter. She will be missed.

God Bless you dear Cathy, dear Cousins and may God Bless us all,

Andy, Marge, Michael and Patrick Collins and Families

So grateful to have cousin time with Cathy the past 10-15 years. Our families are so big, it always took us a few cocktails, dinner and enjoyable conversation to remind ourselves of the roots of connections. Our great grandparents were Stephen Henry O’Connor and Margaret Ellen Fitzgerald O’Connor. Two of their 7 children were our grandparents. Dan O’Connor was my grandfather. His sister Alice O’Connor Prendergast was Cathy’s grandmother. They had five other siblings: Thomas, Patrick, Ambrose, Mary Ann O’Connor Nutt Lavery and Margaret O’Connor. We have cousins galore. So grateful for all these connections.

All of us who love Cathy will try to comfort each other . She was such a mercurial , feisty and above all loyal character. Any time someone needed support she was there.
She would tease me and call me her older sister. I was honored !
She is probably organizing a heavenly picnic about now.
Rest In Peace Cathy.
Love, Peggy

With sympathy to Cathy's family. We played basketball together at AOL. Yet, I was not as skilled as her!
We had a good education and shared many fun days with our classmates.

Cathy was in many St.Margaret of Scotland grade classes with me and she was the sweetest and kindest person and had the best sense of humor .I was glad to have seen her over the years and I want to tell the family that I am so sorry for their loss of this special woman . Cathy was someone you could never forget and she was a very good ball player ~~She was in our graduating class of 1961 .
