Ceola Smith, age 92, of Chicago, Illinois passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2023. Beloved wife of Aden Smith; loving mother of Denise Anderson, Michelle Harris; Late Aden Jr. and Patrick Smith; cherished grandmother of seven and great grandmother of 20; dear sister of Thomas McDowell, Attie Newsome and Wilma Williams; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Ceola will be held Friday, October 6, 2023 from 9:00 AM until Services 10:00 AM at Friendly Temple Church of God in Christ, 7745 S. State Street, Chicago, IL 60619. Interment to follow 2:00 PM at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, 20953 W. Hoff Rd., Elwood, IL 60421.
