Charles L. Opfer, age 91, passed away on February 1st, 2024. Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Elsie Opfer, nee Fiske; Siblings, Arthur Opfer and Anita Gertz, and niece, Judith Gertz. Chuck leaves behind a host of friends, neighbors, nephews, and many more who will deeply miss him.
Friends and family will gather for a visitation for Chuck that will be held from 10 AM – 12 PM at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 West 103rd Street, Oak Lawn, Illinois 60453, on Friday, February 9th, where a funeral service will take place at 12 PM. Interment at Skyline Memorial Park to follow.
