Christopher David Kapa, 27, suddenly, at peace after a long struggle with addiction. Christopher “Kee” leaves behind his heartbroken parents, Christopher J. (CPD) and Veronica Kapa, nee Hickey; Dear brother of Lauren, Nicholas, and Thomas Kapa; Father to his beautiful daughter, Mollie; Cherished grandson to Grace Hickey; Will be missed by his loving and supportive partner, Aften Summer Griffin; Beloved nephew, cousin, and friend to many. He was preceded in death by his doting grandparents, John and Patricia Kapa, and David J. Hickey. Alumnus St. Christina Grammar School 2009 and St. Rita of Cascia High School 2013.
Visitation for Christopher will be from 3-8 PM on Tuesday, July 26, at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W 103rd, Oak Lawn. Funeral to begin at 10:45 AM on Wednesday, July 27, at the Funeral Home, proceeding to St. Christina Church, 3342 W 111th, Chicago, for an 11:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery to follow.
