Dawsie was the beloved wife of the late Edward V. Gallagher; dearly beloved mother of Edward Archie, Andy (Charlotte), David (Nancy), Terry, Karol Fahey, and Katy (Peter) Cunningham; cherished grandmother of Lukas, Rosa, Margaret, Liam, PJ, Dawsey, Cove, Guthrie, and Jack; dear sister of Pamela Hayes; and loving aunt to Jamie, Jacki, Jane and Audrey. She is preceded in death by her parents Archie and Dora McNaughton of Chicago.
Visitation will be Friday, July 10, 2026 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 p.m. at Blake Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W. 103rd St, Oak Lawn. Prayers will be said Saturday, July 11, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home and proceed to St. Linus Catholic Church in Oak Lawn for a funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m. Burial will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery following Mass.
