Dorothy Lucille Burnicks (Age 82) of Worth, IL passed from this life to be with the Lord on Monday, February 19, 2024. Dorothy was born on December 4th, 1941 in Chicago, IL; a daughter of the late Stanley Burnicks and Adel (Prosevic) Burnicks.
Dorothy worked at Nalco Chemical Company for many years before retiring to enjoy her many hobbies and interests. She enjoyed silk-screening, painting, photography and her flower garden that filled her entire back yard; but first and foremost was her deep and committed love for family and her pets. She is survived by her two sisters: Janet Mose, Eleanor (Robert) Love and will be missed by many. She is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers Stanley and Matthew.
Funeral services were held at St. Gerald's Catholic Church in Oak Lawn with visitation at 9:00 a.m. followed by mass at 10:00 a.m. Burial followed at St Casimer Cemetery.
