Gail, I'll always have the fondest memories of teaching with you and admiring your professionalism and devotion to your students.  You never hestitated to give of your time and expertise to the staff and administration.  You were always positive, had a smile on your face, and a joy to work with. My thoughts are with Gail and her family this evening.  Teaching has given me wonderful memories of students and colleagues who helped make me a better and more compassionate person.  Gail was one of those teachers who was there for her students and especially her fellow teachers.  She had a giving heart and always had time to share her ideas and lessons.  Gail was never too busy to take the time to listen to you; it could be a professional problem or a personal concern.  Her strong faith was the foundation of a life well lived.  Her family was always first in her heart and I have many memories of sharing all the news about her children and grandchildren.  I clearly remember the time when Claire was born, her first grandchild followed by the twins.  Gail was an active part of their lives and was always planning and participating in their adventures.  She was very proud of John's daughter and sons and all their accomplishments.  Gail had unlimited love for John, her family, and her many, many friends.  She will always be in my thoughts and heart as an outstanding colleague and friend.  I feel blessed that she was a part of  my life and teaching career.  Mary Duchinsky

I met Gail when I came to her school as a new and inexperienced teacher. I don't  remember how, but we became friends instantly. That's how it was with Gail--she brought you in and made you feel like you belonged. Since then we have shared a lot of life's joys and tribulations--changing jobs, retirement, illness, the births of her grandchildren, the birth of my daughter.  It's hard for me to say what she means to me, because it is a whole lot and it is wrapped up in so many of my life's big moments.  I know there are many people out there who feel about her the way I do. I call it "the community of Gail."  She always went above and beyond to let you know that you mattered.  She made friends wherever she went. She was an exceptional person and I will miss her very much. My deepest condolences to John, Gin and Danielle and the grandkids she adored.

My heart-felt condolences go out to you and your family.  I know how much your mother meant to you.  I had the pleasure of meeting her last year and I could tell the bond between you two was special.  I will keep you both in my thoughts and prayers.  She knew the best of your love and it rests well with her soul.  Believe!



Bob and I met Gail when we started volunteering for Royal Family Kids' Camp in the summer of 2008 and became fast friends.
Gail was more of a sister than just a friend. We will miss her friendship, love, compassion and her laughter.
Till we meet again......

Gail and I knew each other before I came to Eberhart. We grew closer during the time we worked together. She was the one who started our Wednesday morning prayer group. It’s always been a blessing to pray with her and share our stories about the love and power of Jesus.

We worked with Gail at our physical therapy clinic in Oak Lawn (FYZICAL)...as she saw us over the past several years for different ailments.  She started as a client and left as a friend. What a beautiful person!! Always tried to stay positive and was typically motivated by a joke, a laugh and being around positive people. She was a fervent believer in God and in His plan for her.  She loved  her family, always very happy to have the chance to support her grandchildren's sports and activites.  A true "teacher" at heart.  She will be missed and her memory will not fade. Our sympathy to her family and dear friends.

Sincere Sympathy to All  for the loss of such an Angelic Loving Soul! Heaven certainly added another GOLDEN STAR! 

We all know how she entered into Heaven! Jumping for joy as she finally reached the loving arms of her almighty Savior, King of Kings. 

I can hear and see her now " Thank You Jesus", as HE wrapped HIS arms around her to welcome her home; safe and sound. Gail will forever watch over all of us as she did, here on earth.

I wish I could throw  a DQ Blizzard to her but her journey, now, is much more elaborate than a DQ Blizzard.

Amen to all who loved her and knew her! A wonderful, precious, woman of Christ, indeed ❤️. 





We were all neighbors who became great friends. Many hours we spent gossiping at the community pool. We even came up with a name The Riv Rafters. Gail had such a strong faith. She always had the right thing to say when you were feeling down. Her stories were amazing and inspirational., always thinking of the positive. We all would bring snacks for each other to enjoy at the pool. Gail would bring watermelon. John would cut it up just perfect and we would say, “this is the best watermelon!” Her favorite was the Twizzlers! Gail’s favorite holiday was Christmas. She would have us over and everything would be so perfect. Gail wanted to make sure everyone was happy. Our dogs were besties . We enjoyed many walks together. Gail loved talking about her Family. She was so proud of her grandchildren and loved spending time with them and telling us about them. I will really miss my special friend. I hope she knows she has brought so much joy to many people. This summer will be sad without her at the pool, but I know she will there with us. May She Rest In Peace. Sending condolences to John and her family and ALL that loved her! She was AMAZING!

You were the most amazing mom and nana. Words cannot describe the loss I feel. Who am I going to call four times a day?? Who will listen to me and give the best advice?? Who is going to pray with me and for me?? I am thankful that you finally have peace and no pain, but I selfishly want you here with us.
