My dear Aunt Gen,
Thank you for your example of a life so well-lived... for your exceptionally kind & gracious spirit, for being an eternal optimist, for being a peacemaker in the family, for being a voice of reason & compassion, for not taking yourself too seriously & advising us to do the same, for seeing the "glass as half-full," for putting others before yourself, for your witness as a faithful follower of Our Lord & his Blessed Mother, for being a strong & steady voice for the family in delicate matters, for your sense of humor, for being a wonderful cook & making the best mashed potatoes. Eternally grateful to be known as your nephew & godson.

We were so lucky sweet Gram, to have you with us for 99 years...I’m so blessed to be able to have my children be in your company. Four generations of strong women...and you set the best example possible. You are at rest now and will be greatly missed. We love you ♥️

Oh Mom... Even though I won't be able to see you sitting in the same room with me, having even the fewest of words exchanged, we always knew we were there for each other. My day will be so different without caring for you the way I got so used to doing. I never minded the daily routine. It was my life. You were my life. How do I know what to do from here on out? All I know is that God will help me get through each lonely day and long evenings, as I miss you. I'm comforted to know you're with Dad, Bob and Larry. Whenever possible, remind me of that sweet voice of yours that I hold dear. You're forever in my heart Mom. I love you and miss you already. Until later... ❤️
