In loving memory we announce the passing of our dear husband, father, uncle and grandfather, George John Sinadinos on June 23, 2011. Born and raised in Chicago, he graduated from Ripon College in 1952. A life-long White Sox fan, he took great pride in his involvement in the AHEPA organization, serving not only as the president of the local Oak Lawn-Englewood chapter founded by his father, but serving as a Supreme Governor on the national level. During his time in the AHEPA George was named the National AHEPAN of the year, an honor he was very proud of. He was also a tireless worker for St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, where he served many terms as Parish Council President and Festival Chairman. He loved cars, jazz and swing music, and the East Coast of Florida, eventually moving for a time with his family to Ponce Inlet. Preceded in death by his brother Jim, George is survived by his loving wife Sharon, his children John (Georganna), Pamela (Chris) Pajak, and Alison, his grandchildren Nicholas, Alexa, Christopher, George and Eleanna, who were his pride and joy, and his nieces Elizabeth and Nicole. He is also survived by Jean Sinadinos, who is the mother of Pam and John.
