Janet Lee Tracy, age 67, passed away peacefully at her home in Chicago while with family on June 17, 2019 after a long and courageous battle with MSA, a neurodegenerative illness. Janet was the loving mother of Jacqueline and Tom Tracy, the loving grandmother of Tom and Shannon Tracy's children, Dylan and Madelyn and longtime companion to Alex Terras. She is survived by her sisters, Judy Brannigan and Joyce Justus, and her brothers Jim and Jerry Williamson. Janet was an artist in residence and faculty member of The Palette and Chisel Academy in Chicago, an accomplished pianist, adjunct Professor of Law at Loyola University of Chicago and a retired partner of Winston & Strawn, Chicago's oldest law firm.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 25, 2019 from 4:00 pm until the time of her memorial service at 5:00 pm at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home (4727 W. 103rd Street; Oak Lawn, IL 60453).
