I am the mother in law of Jason, and if I tell You that I could not have asked God for a better son in law. He was a wonderful husband, father, neighbor, etc. He was kind, loving, patient, faithful, caring, and most of all; He was a Christian. He was very serious with his walk with the Lord. He was very eager to learn all that he could and he was knowledgeable about his Christian faith. We miss him dearly, but God decided that it was time for him to come home. We are truly heartbroken and sad, but not to the point where there is no hope, because we know to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Jason you are Forever in our hearts, and we know that we shall see you again in Heaven. ❤️

Jason, we started this journey with the railroad and was bless to see 19 yrs. Its still hard to think your not here to chop it up with about life, family, our kids, and God and scripture. You help me out when i was at my lowest just by listening at what i had to say and i appreciate you for that. Pastor Jordan says in life every body cannot be your friend like you think they are so choose wisely. I can truly say you where a true friend and brother. When we talk that day i would have never thought it would be our last but in a way im glad we had that chance to because i guess in all God had a greater plan for you. I just would like to say thanks for the memories bro you will be miss by the 01 class of UP but know you are at rest with the Lord....thanks bro ....D. Finister

Jason, you and I were A1 since Day 1. Since the 6th grade at Key middle school where we formed a bond that was unbreakable. We were brothers, when you saw one you saw
the other (Black and Redd). We eventually followed each other from Key to Forest Brook. Here we are 35 years later still rocking together. I would give anything to talk to you right now. Until we meet again on the other side, I'll continue to hold it down. I Love and Miss You Brother

The angles gathered near your side so very close to you
For they knew the pain and suffering that you were going through
I thought about so many things as I held tightly to your hand Oh, how I wish that you were strong and happy once again
But your eyes were looking homeward to that place beyond the sky where Jesus held his out stretched arms it was time to say good-bye
I struggled with my selfish thoughts
For I wanted you to stay
So we can walk and talk again like we did. ..just yesterday
But Jesus knew the answer And I knew you loved him so,so I gave to you life's greats gift The gift of letting go.
I will always miss you Jason
