Jean A Wolf

Jean Audrey Wolf (nee Mueller) of Palos Heights, Illinois. Born in Chicago, on June 26th 1927. She was the second daughter born to the late Carl E. and Margaret E. Mueller. Jean was the beloved wife of John William Wolf for 68 years. They were inseparable companions, throughout their marriage, until his death in 2015. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to daughters Jody (Richard) Nyboer and Julie Rogers, grandsons Michael Rogers and Jeremiah Wolf as well as the great-grandmother to Atlas Rogers. Mom was known for her creativity whether it was home decor, unique clothing she designed and sewed herself or her expertise knitting and crocheting. She worked for Heritage Tool and Die, of Tinley Park, for many years as the office manager. Jean passed away after a long illness on October 17, 2025 at the age of 98 years. Jody and Julie wish to thank Gentiva Hospice members (especially Dave H and Rouen), her caregivers (Asta, Raminta and Vilda), as well as the staff at Avantara Libertyville for their thoughtful and loving care of Jean during her final year of life.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24, 2025, from 11:00am to 12:00pm, with a funeral service to begin promptly at 12:00pm. Interment will be private.
