Jeffrey J. Berner, son of Geraldine Setzke (nee Lisowski) and the late Arthur J. Berner, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 in Chicago. He is survived by his mother, daughter Sharon (Steve) Jensen, grandchildren - Stevie, Sophia, Sylvia, Simon and Silas, his brother Wayne (Tracy), sisters Linda (Kevin) Gerrish and Michele (Ed) Tepper, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Cathy Dukes, his grandson Robbie Jensen and step-father Walter Setzke. In lieu of flowers donations to your favorite animal shelter would be appreciated. Jeffrey had a big heart and made many friends along his journey in life. He will be missed by his family and friends.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 23rd from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W. 103rd St., Oak Lawn, IL. Funeral, Monday, January 24th prayers at Blake-Lamb will begin at 9:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady at St. Germaine Church, 9711 S. Kolin Ave., Oak Lawn, IL. Interment Private.
