Jerry ALWAYS had a smile on his face and took such great care of us in District 227 with tremendous pride! I truly enjoyed his spirit! May God bless and keep your family during this time of loss. May your memories provide comfort and joy!

I am truly saddened by this news.  
Jerry was hilarious.  We would banter back and forth every time we saw each other. Once we were done ragging on each other, he'd end it with a warm smile.  I'm going to miss that.  Rest in peace, Jerry.

I’m very sorry for the loss of Jerry whole was a very good staff member and dear friend. I had the good fortune to give work opportunities to him at Rich South back some ten years ago as the head outdoor grounds maintenance team member. He was and absolute ideal employee and co worker. Rock Solid with excellent skills and follow through. He would always beam happiness when talking about his family.  Sadly , all who knew him will miss his warmth and stand up personality……

Jerry was a great guy. I worked with him a Rich Twp. He was always happy to help anyone and did it with a smile. He will be missed.

Jerry was our neighbor and friend for so many years I can't count. I remember the many many days he spent working on his  truck- the old blue one, Honestly, I could never figure out how he kept it running. And his lawn--- no matter what I did for ours his was always a step ahead and a masterpiece. He never had a dead spot or a weed!! He even let the kids play on his lawn... and still no spots. Dang.    But he was also considerate. When he would come home late at night he would back into his driveway with the headlights turned off so as to not bother us.   I remember the family football games. The pure joy and good times he and the kids had. You kids need to go home and play a game in his memory... and keep that memory alive always.

One of my favorite memories of Jerry is when, after a heavy snowfall, we climbed up onto the roof of  Kate Wiggins school. There was about a foot of snow on the roof and a couple feet of it on the ground. Jerry looked at me and said, "Watch this," then started running. He slipped and fell onto his back then, to my horror, he careened off the roof. I ran over and looked over the edge only to see him lying in a deep snow bank and laughing hysterically, completely unhurt. 
He was a great guy with a kind heart. My deepest condolences to his family and friends. May God bless his spirit and give those who loved him peace and comfort at this terrible time.

Condolences to the Belseth family.  They lived behind us on Whipple. We were on Sacramento. I was a year older than Jerry, he was my brother John's age.  I can still picture him walking home from Wiggin. Jogging my memory, such a long time ago.  I remember Jerry to be a kind and quiet person. So young , sorry to hear this news.
