John A. Ploger, ret. Sgt. CPD, veteran, U.S. Army, Korea, Combat Engineer, 81, of Putnam (Lake Thunderbird) and of Chicago, passed away, October 23 surrounded by his loving family, his wife, Pat, nee Kerwin and children, Kathy (Patrick) Griffin, John, Joe, Karen (Bob) Koupeny, Kenny (Marian) and Paddie, his sister, Frances Carr and his many loving grandchildren, nieces and nephews. John was a member of the Lake Thunderbird Men’s Club and Lake Security.
