Lauretta Bombe

Lauretta R. Bombe passed away peacefully on February 5, 2022, having never fully recovered from COVID in March of 2020. Adored daughter of the late Lauretta M. Bombe; Cherished friend of many years to Ruth Pieper and Julie Storey, as well as many others.

Lauretta was a devoted parishioner of St. Gerald’s Catholic Church attending the daily Mass. She was a very talented, expert needlewoman and a member of the Beverly Hills Embroiderers’ Guild for many years. She worked as an exemplary Paralegal in downtown Chicago with the same attorneys and colleagues for over 50 years, and her corporate expertise was highly regarded by her peers in the field.

Tuesday, February 22, 2022 there will be prayers at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W. 103rd Street, Oak Lawn, IL from 8:30AM - 9:30 AM. The family will then process to St. Gerald's Catholic Church, 9310 S. Central Avenue, Oak Lawn, IL 60453 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM followed by the interment at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Justice, Illinois.
