Lawrence "Larry" Panatera

Lawrence "Larry" Panatera, a retired CFD, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was a beloved husband and best friend to Felicia (nee Cullen), with whom he shared a life full of cherished moments. As a devoted father, Larry took immense pride in his children, Michael and Kaylee, always supporting them with unconditional love. He was the dear son of the late Lawrence S. and Frances D. Panatera, and a cherished brother to Lauren (Joseph) Messina and Robert "Bob" (Kathy), who also served as a retired CFD. Larry was a fond son-in-law to the late Michael and Naoma Cullen and a supportive brother-in-law to Sean Cullen. Throughout his life, Larry was not only a dedicated family member but also a beloved uncle, great-uncle, godfather, cousin, and a faithful friend to many, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and warmth that will be deeply missed.

A Visitation will take place from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Thursday, March 20th at Blake Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W. 103rd Street in Oak Lawn, IL. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, March 21st located at St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church, 10621 S. Kedvale Avenue in Oak Lawn, IL. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
