Loretta A. Ivers

Loretta A. Ivers (née Radtke), age 100, passed away peacefully on May 26, 2025. Born on March 23, 1925, in Chicago, Illinois, Loretta was the beloved wife of the late Frank Ivers and devoted mother to her late son, Michael Ivers. She was preceded in death by her siblings: Sr. Mary Frances Radtke O.P., Agnes (Edwin) Giermak, Margaret Radtke, Paul (Ruth) Radtke, and Edmund (Evelyn) Radtke.

Loretta is survived by her loving children: James (Mary) Ivers, Mary (the late Henry) Palmisano, Anne (Steve) Palmisano, Paul (Linda) Ivers, and Ruth (the late Michael) Parrott. She was a cherished grandmother to Kevin (Kayleen) Ivers, Jim (Amanda) Ivers, Megan Ivers, Peter (Isabelle) Ivers, Julia Palmisano, Fran Palmisano (James Burns), Matthew (Lisa) Palmisano, Vincent (Kim) Palmisano, Philip (Jordan) Palmisano, Jillian Ivers (Ryne Stubbs), Michael John Ivers, Jenna (Kyle) Holmes, and Jimmy Ivers. Additionally, she leaves behind twenty great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.

A visitation for Loretta will be held Friday, May 30, 2025 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 West 103rd Street, Oak Lawn, IL 60453. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Sts. Martha, Mary and Lazarus Parish, 9830 S Vincennes Ave, Chicago, IL 60643. Interment at St Mary Catholic Cemetery and Mausoleums, 87th Street & Hamlin Ave., Evergreen Park, IL 60805.
