

Beloved husband of Susan (née Larson). Loving father of the late Louis III, Todd (Sandy), Vanessa, and Breanne. Cherished Papa to T.J. (Liz), Tori, Tyler, Nate, Braxtyn, Caden, and Jason. Dear brother-in-law of Karen and Brad Hardesty. Fond uncle of Lauren and Leah (Nate). Louis’s memory will be treasured by all who knew and loved him.
Louis dedicated 47 years of his life as a devoted football coach and served as President of the Palos Stars Football and Cheerleading Organization for 39 years. He was a mentor, a leader, and an inspiration to countless young athletes and their families throughout the community. Louis was also a well-known race car painter, admired for his talent and creativity in the motorsports world.
In lieu of flowers, If you would like to donate, memorial donations may be made to Palos JR Football, in honor of Louis’s lifelong commitment to youth sports.
His legacy will live on in the many lives he touched.
A visitation will be held on Monday, July 21, 2025 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W. 103rd St., Oak Lawn, IL. Funeral Tuesday, July 22, 2025 10:00 a.m. chapel service at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home. Interment Holy Sepulchre, Alsip, IL.
