My friend, you will be missed dearly. I wouldn't know who to ask when I have a problem, you were always there to help others before you. We had great times together I will cherish for the rest of my life. Miss you brother.

My thoughts and prayers to Mario's family. I was a coworker from Methode for many, many years. Mario was always so friendly and such a great person. I'm so sad to hear of his passing though I know his health had been bad lately. I'll always have fond memories of our conversations at work.

My heart goes out to the family. Mario was a great guy. I worked at Tcc/methode 15 years with Mario and he had a heart of gold . Always had my back . Invite me to his home meet his lovely wife and kids
When my daughter was small she would come to work with me she always looked forward to seeing Mario. He would hand her a dollar and take her to the vending machines. ( he was her favorite person to see there.) we always joked about my birthday being MAR 10 . He said it was MARIO day . Mario will always have a place in my heart. You taught me so much, and was by far the nicest person in the place. Though it’s been years since I last seen him I have always felt his impact. ❤️🙏🏻❤️

Mario was more than a friend. He was an incredible individual, our club's Patriarch and perennial champion. He shot trap with Moses (Charleton Heston) and Elliot Ness (Robert Stack). He was the late Daniel Perazzi's personal protege at the Grand and Shot Show. He presided over services every Sunday at Our Lady of Maywood and held sway over shooters for years.

Mario had a gift...he was always positive and everyone's friend. Many thanks to his family for bringing him to our club on occasion during his illness. His presence brightened our day. Our club has not been the same without him. God Bless...

I am a member of the Sparta Area Chamber Commerce and we always have a welcome table at the ATA Main complex building. I met Mario in 2012. We struck up a friendship and shared some laughs. We visited at times during the week he was there. I looked forward to seeing him each year. He was such a jovial person and always had a twinkle in his eyes and smile on his face. I never had the chance to see him the last 2 years, but always ask about him to some of his friends. My prayers were always with him. I will never forget him, To his family may GOD wrap his arms around you and comfort you...….Charlie Bluff

I met Mario at Methode Electronics years ago. I never met anyone like him. One of the smartest men I knew. Always made me laugh and gave me the greatest advice. We formed a great friendship and I considered him like a second Father. My heart was broken when I was informed of his passing and I cried. Just like everyone else I will miss him dearly. It was an honor to know Mario and I felt very blessed by God to have known him. Because of the person he is, I know Mario is in heaven making friends and making all the angels laugh. Rest in paradise, Mario. My condolence to the Garritano family.

I want to offer my condolences to the Garritano Family. I first met Mario at Rex Foods in Norridge. He was the reason I started trap shooting. He invited me to Maywood and gave me my first lesson. I will always remember him.
