I am heartbroken to learn of the death of Mary, who was a great mentor and role model during my young adult life. She was very supportive and gave so much of herself to others. She always was thoughtful and was there during happy and difficult moments. Not only did Mary teach me many things at work, but she was also a friend and a teacher. My deepest condolences to Mary's family. I will always remember Mary.

When I heard about Mary, I was so very shocked and very sad.  I met Mary when I began with Sidley 35 years ago.  When I worked in Administration in my younger years, Mary was my backup and would fill in when I was on vacation.   Mary was one of the sweetest ladies I knew and she will be sorely missed.  God bless Mary and her family.    

Mary was so kind yet competent,very professional and had integrity in all her work.Knew her over 35yrs.Encouraging & thoughtful ,even in all her holiday cards! A pleasant,beautiful person this Earth will miss. May Jesus grant her loved ones grace &peace.

Mary was a delight to work with. ALWAYS smiling and kind, she was one of the finest people I've ever had the pleasure to work with. 

Mary was one of the first people I got to know when I started at Sidley in the 1980's.  She had a quiet dignity, a  good mind and a kind heart.  I'm sorry to hear of her passing.  

Mary was a very good friend and member of the Sidley community.  I'm so sorry to hear of her passing.  Prayers for her and her family.  

Heartfelt condolences to family, friends and coworkers. Mary was a delight to work with. Always had time to answer questions. And she often asked me for restaurant recommendations which I loved sharing with her. Sad news today.

My sincere condolences to the family. I worked with Mary for over 30 years in various capacities at Sidley until my own retirement as Director of HR in 2016. She was a kind and  supportive friend and colleague to many and will be missed greatly. It was evident from our chats that she cherished her time with her family and I hope that your memories sustain you in these difficult times.

I was a co-worker with Mary, not in the Chicago office but in our San Francisco office.  Your day was always brighter when you received a call or email from Mary.   Mary as always kind, caring, a good listener, was on top of her job and responsibilities,  and always willing to help. On those rare occasions when I visited the Chicago office, Mary always made sure to carve some time out of her busy day for a stop by and meet and catch up.   To her family that she loved you are all in my thoughts and prayers.  I am also certain because of who Mary was, that a choir of angels greeted her in paradise. 

I worked with Mary at Sidley.  She was exceptional at her role and we frequently shared our favorite books.  

Rest in peace Mary. You were such a  joy to work with for so many years. Blessings to all that loved you in this time of mourning. My prayers are with you and your family.
