My condolences and prayers to the Venckus family.

I will always remember Aunt Mary as a kind and loving person.  She always had a smile on her face and a skip in her step.  I still vividly remember the time our family went on a trip out West to Wyoming with Aunt Mary, Uncle Frank and the family to visit Aunt Mary's sister.  We swam, went horse back riding and had a picnic or two in the mountains.  My condolences to Linda, Richard and Jim and your familiies on your loss.  Aunt Mary will always be remembered fondly.

My Aunt Mary, Christina and I of the photo taken last Thursday the 24 July, 2014. I learned of Aunt Mary passing  today at 9:30 am central time August 1, 2014. It was the last time I would see her.  I have fond memories of Aunt Mary as always smiling and joyful.  She was always a shining light.   She told Christina and I that, "I have been around the block a few times". And laughed. She would go on to sing a couple of songs, which one would be "take me out to the ball game" and another from the 1940's. She talked about her husband who passed away many years ago and how much he loved my mother, and how my Dad would dance with my mother. I asked her if she remembered the teddy bear I gave her which had the letters "WWJD" , she asked what that meant and I told her, " what would Jesus do?" And she smiled and said, "Yes I remember" and smiled. Well the last words she said to Christina and I was, "go around the block a few times" and she said, " don't worry about me, I'll be ok" we left and I received the news of her passing this morning. One interesting thing to note is I smelled her scent this morning which told me she is ok. I'll miss you Aunt Mary down here, but I know we will see each other again!! Rest in peace in God's paradise Aunt Mary, You have touched so many lives!  It was so good seeing you when we visited you and I loved our conversations.  I will miss our conversations, but mostly you, I love you Aunt Mary, Your Nephew Matthew

Many years have passed since we worked together I have kept you in my prayers you were such a good friend and mentor you were my mother when I needed one and mine had passed away you were always there for me and I will never forget that May you rest now, you have cared for so many others now let our Lord care for you  Respectfully, Trish  Walters

It is with fondest memories that I remember my Aunt Mary. She was always loving & welcoming. I remember taking the train from Rhinelander to come & stay at Aunt Mary's & Uncle Frank's home a few summers. She always made my visit special. Those of us up in Rhinelander also enjoyed their visits to Lake George almost every summer. It was always a treat to go to Clear Lake swimming & picnicking. We of course had to stop at the Dairy Queen on the way home for a Dilly Bar. She will be missed.
