Maureen A. Scahill, née Geraghty; Native of Swinford, County Mayo Ireland, age 87, Born April 26, 1939, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2026. Devoted wife of the late Johnny Scahill for 37 years. Loving mother of John (Anne) Scahill, Jeannie (Tim) Carroll, and Mary (Robert) Mayer. Proud Grandmother- “Momo” to Sean and Kevin Scahill, Jack and Danny Carroll, and Katie, John, and Jimmy Mayer. Beloved sister of the late MichaeI (Mary) Geraghty, Nancy (late Michael) Carroll, the late Francis McWhorter, the late Charlie Geraghty, Evelyn (late Eamon) McKeever, Kathy (Bill) Friedman, and the late Connie Geraghty. Cherished aunt to many nieces and nephews. Honorary angel to her many adopted dogs. Dedicated florist for the United Food and Commercial Workers Union for over 25 years.
