Miguel Martinez, age 79, of Chicago, Illinois passed away on Sunday, February 11th, 2024. Beloved husband of the late Francisca Martinez; Loving father of Irma (Edward) Chevere, Miguel (Marie) Martinez, Velma (Grace) Martinez, Jeanette (Armando) Martinez; Step-father of Daisy Balderas; Cherished grandfather of Cristian Chevere, Emily Chevere, Alyssa Martinez, Jessica Martinez, Isabelle Martinez, Ethan Martinez, Aryana Martinez, Giancarlo Martinez, Aaron Martinez, Alexis Balderas, David Balderas, and the late Karime Balderas; Fond brother and uncle to many.

Friends and family will gather for a visitation for Miguel that will be held on Wednesday, February 14th, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 West 103rd Street, Oak Lawn, Illinois 60453. A Mass of Christian burial will begin on Thursday, February 15th, 2024 at 10:00am at St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, 6435 South Kilbourn Avenue, Chicago, Illinois 60629. Interment to follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery & Mausoleum, 7201 Archer Road, Justice, Illinois 60458.
