Nicholas W. Janakos, age 80, of Crestwood, Illinois passed away on Friday, January 7, 2022. Nicholas was born July 22, 1941. Beloved husband to the late Barbara Janakos; Loving father to the Late Andrea, William (Maryann), the late Nicole, and the late Peter Janakos; Cherished grandfather to Jacqueline, Nicholas, Ashton, Alexander; Adored brother/cousin to Dorothy Joann Miller; Godfather to Dean Miller, Uncle to Bradley (Shari), Matthew (Keri) and Gregory (Jordan) Miller; Great-uncle to J.J., Mikayla, Dylan, Jacob, and Austin.
A visitation for Nicholas will be held Friday, January 14, 2022 from 10:00am to 11:00am at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 10301 Kolmar Ave, Oak Lawn, IL 60453. A Funeral Service will occur Friday, January 14, 2022 immediately following at 11:00am. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery, 3401 West 87th Street, Evergreen Park, IL 60805.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church.
