This was our annual birthday celebration last year with our special friend. We just now heard of her passing, and are so sad that we missed her wake. Please know that we are thinking of your family and keeping you all in our prayers. Pat was one of a kind!

Pat McGee was a wonderful resident at Bickford, her time at Bickford was too short, wish we had more time to spend with her.  Looking at all the memories that were posted, she sure seemed to live a full life, devoted to God and to her family.  What a beautiful tribute made by everyone in her life.  Rest in Paradise sweet Pat McGee :)

My deepest condolences to the family of Gigi McGee! What an amazing woman!!! She will be deeply missed by all. 
I met Pat in 1998 when I started line dancing. Before we ever spoke, I was in awe of her from a distance. Here I was tripping over my feet thinking I would never catch on. Here was this beautiful woman (twenty years older than me) effortlessly doing every dance for 3 hours straight. She was the one to watch. She did every step precisely and was so easy to follow. After standing in the row behind her for several months, we gradually got to know each other. All my friends that I came with gave up one by one. I didn't mind going alone because I was surrounded by friendly people. Pat and her friends invited me to join their table.
One Christmas, my church New Hope was putting on a cantata. I brought invitations to line dancing and gave one to everyone at my table. To my surprise, Pat came. And as they say, the rest is history. She loved it! She started coming every week and got involved in Bibles Studies too. The next time we had a cantata she was in it. She loved studying the Bible and wanted to learn all she could about the Lord and the wonderful plan he has for our lives. She couldn't wait to go be with Him. Now she's in eternity with her Savior and we all will be there before we know it! There will be no more death, no more pain, no more crying!!!

To the entire McGee family thank you for sharing Pat with us. She was sweet and feisty all at the same time. I will miss her!

Pat was one of my mom's best friends. She often took me my mom and my son Mario to lunch after church. Pat would always greet me my mom and my son coming into church and would call my son her boyfriend. Pat always loved the children at church and loved working the greeting table with Millie black at church. I will miss Pat a whole lot. I remember some of the parties and or women's get togethers at Pat's house and they were very good. Pat always loved gospel music especially the gaithers. Whenever the gaithers were in Illinois she would find time and tickets to go see them perform live. Pat was a great woman of God and will be missed by many. I do know that Pat always enjoyed going out to North Carolina to visit her family. I do remember the first time that one of her great-grandchildren were born. She told me that her great-grandchildren called her Gigi. God bless all of Pat's family and extended family.

Pat loved her garden, and my daughters loved helping her take care of it.  My mom made sure to take my girls to visit Pat when they would spot her outside. Pat had the best sense of humor and the sweetest soul.  There is a special place for Pat in our hearts, and my family will miss her tremendously. My deepest condolences to the McGee family.

Pat loved ballet. I remember when she came to my performance. We also saw “Giselle” together. I will miss her, but I know she’s at peace now with the Lord.

What a lovely woman. So glad I got to know her.

Ms. Patricia had a beautiful smile and her laugh was priceless. She  had the best sense of humor and knew how to put a smile on your face. She will be missed!
