Patricia A. Nielsen, nee Kobe, age 83, longtime resident of Oak Lawn and Chicago’s Roseland neighborhood, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on February 8, 2020. Loving mother of Thomas (Patricia) Hopkins; Cherished grandma of Daniel Hopkins and Kathryn Hopkins; Dear sister of Shirley (Ray) Koopman; Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Anton and Mary Kobe, along with three of her siblings, Joseph (the late Stella) Zaher, Ronald (Patricia) Kobe, and Edward Kobe.
Funeral to begin at 10:45 AM on Thursday, February 13, at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W 103rd, Oak Lawn, proceeding to St. Catherine of Alexandria Church, 10621 S Kedvale, Oak Lawn, for an 11:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 12, from 3-8 PM, at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home.
