Patrick Egan was born in Chicago on September 20, 1944 and passed away in Chicago on April 22, 2021. Patrick was preceded in death by his parents, Patrick J Egan Sr. and Margaret (Callaghan) Egan, and his sister, the late Maura (Richard) Stillman. He is survived by his sister, Ellen Egan (retired CPD Sergeant) and nephew, Michael B. Stillman as well as loving cousins. Patrick attended Campion (Jesuit) High School (Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin). Upon completion he earned a scholarship to Loyola University, later changing his major from Science to Math. As a young man he was an accomplished chess player, bowler (scoring a perfect game) and also spoke fluent Latin and Greek. Pat was a gentle, humble man with a wonderful sense of humor and dry wit.

Visitation will be held Friday, May 7, 2021 at 10:00 a.m at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 West 103rd Street, Oak Lawn, Illinois. A Memorial Service will follow at 12:00 p.m at the funeral home. Committal Service will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Alsip, IL.
