Condolences to Peggy's family from another ASA sorority sister who just recently learned of her illness and death.

So many memories have come to me since we lost Peggy. We started as ASA pledge sisters and were able to maintain our connection all these years later. Her beauty, great humor and zest for life will remain with me always. Her grace and courage in the face of overwhelming adversity is an inspiration I shall summon up when I face my own challenges.

I remember being so in awe of Peggy when I met her at school; she was everything I wanted to be - smart, funny, charming, and caring.  We became so close, sharing our love of antiques and even trying our hands at businesses.  We spent long hours stenciling people's rooms, etc.; we also spent many nights making our own shabby chic inspired projects and too many hours in the hot sun in Frankfort at the Labor Day Festival.   We would go to the Kane County Fairgrounds and Peg would use her discerning eyes to find that unusual piece of furniture, cake stand, ceramic button, etc.  - she used all of these to make an enviable home for her family.  She adored Kelsey and would share the pride she felt about Kelsey's accomplishments.  Perfection was part of Peggy's life - she was known for her professionalism and skill as a teacher.  It is only fitting that one thing she collected was hearts; I can never look at a heart without thinking of her.  Peg, you touched so many hearts and left an indelible mark on mine.  I will forever miss our many endeavors, riding in my volkswagon convertible with it filled with treasures from antique excursions, a Victorian tea with our girls, spending hours making checkerboards, pillows, and many other things.  You had the vision to create beautiful things, the ability to make others feel special, and enough love to light up the sky.  I can see you with that beautiful smile and those dancing eyes.

You are in my thoughts and prayers always.

I was another of Peggy's sorority sisters.  I remember not only her obvious beauty, but her quick wit and fun nature.  May your beloved memories of her remain forever.  Your family is in my prayers.

Peggy was my pledge sister,roommate, and very dear friend.  It seems that ASA bond holds strong for so many of us. Looking back, I am so grateful for my  friendship with Peggy and all the fun and wonderful times we had. In addition to her evident beauty, people were attracted to Peggy because of her kindness to others.  I remember many instances of it at Western, and will never forget her.  My condolences to her family.

I remember when Peggy pledged Alpha Sigma Alpha.  She was a great addition to our sorority.  My prayers go out to her family and all those who loved her.

Peggy and I were ASA sisters also.  I was not one of her best friends, but I remember her fondly.  She was a beauty and she will be missed by many.  Prayers for the family and friends.  Sue Switzer

Peggy and I were ASA "sisters" . She was so beautiful inside and out and I will never forget her smile and sparkling eyes. I was so sorry to hear of her illness and passing. My prayers are with her family. She has been in my thoughts daily since I heard of her illness and I will fondly remember her always.

Peggy and I pledged ASA together at WIU. We roomed together in the sorority house and shared many happy times. They are in my memory forever! God bless Peggy and her family and support them through this difficult season of life.

Peggy was such a joy! We were ASA sisters and roommates and I have so many wonderful memories of good times shared. She was beautiful inside and outside.

Peggy was a dear friend and roommate during our college days.  We were in each other's weddings and shared many laughs and adventures.  She will live in my thoughts and heart forever.
