Peggy was born on September 16, 1926 in Chicago, Illinois. She was the only child of George and Esther (Yoksoulian) Gogjian. Peggy lived a full and happy life surrounded by many friends and family and filled with many good memories. She and Harry had a wonderful marriage of 34 years, but cut short only due to his unexpected passing in 1982. She embraced life after that, fearlessly and independently, and enjoyed traveling, books, music, movies, and annual trips to New York to see the latest Broadway plays.
Peggy is survived by her daughter Carol Vanderveen and partner Lynn Palmer, and her cat Lela. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harry, two children Nancy and Scott and her Aunt Mary Yoksoulian, and Uncle Jerry Yoksoulian who were like a sister and brother to her.
She will be remembered by all that knew her as the happiest person with the most engaging smile in the room always.
