Dr. Williams saved my mother's life! She(Ethel) was the one who sent him a sweater
every Christmas. My dad, Dr. Arnold L. Johnson was an OB-GYN in Gary, IN.
We loved Dr. & Mrs. Williams! May your hearts be filled with wonderful memories.

Rest in peace Dr Williams.  You and your wife, Connie,  did so much for so many.  I have fond memories of spending time with Susan, Philip and the family when we were kids growing up on the south side of Chicago.   My deepest sympathy.

Dr Williams was one of the people I enjoyed visiting with while I was at UIC.  I last saw him a few days before his fa ily was due to visit fir his birthday.  What an interesting, charming, and insightful man.

Phil and Connie were of the greatest importance to the life of Urban Gateways. They were generous to a fault, an elegant and socially committed pair, whose legacy is large for their progeny and for Chicago. Ronne Hartfield
