Pozell McElroy, age 82, of Chicago, IL; passed away on Monday, January 19, 2026. Beloved husband of the late Gladys nee McIntosh; loving dad of Derrick Police Capt. of Johns Creek, GA (Kymber) Wilson, Donnie McElroy and Karen C.P.D. (Tyrone Sgt. C.P.D.) Jefferson; cherished grandad of Ashley Jefferson, Taylor Jefferson, Tyrone Jefferson Jr. and Sara Jefferson; proud great-grandad of Ameerah Banks; fond brother of Lillie (the late Dellmore) Crockling, Verna Elaine (the late James) Polk and Presley Jr. (Cherlyn) McElroy; dearest uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Pozell was a retired supervisor of the Ford Motor Co. factory in Chicago, IL.
