Providence, nee Baio, Brencic, age 91, born April 19, 1932, died on January 30th, 2024. Beloved and devoted wife of Joseph Brencic for 66 years. Loving mother of David (Jane) Brencic, Lisa (Gerald) Brancato, Renee (John) Egan and Tina (Phillip) Lullo; grandmother to Jennifer (Tyler) Dare, Daniel (Shubha Setty) Brencic, Melissa (John) Lynch, Sarah Egan, Patrick Egan, Nicholas Brancato, Caroline Egan, Rachel Lullo (deceased), Zackary Lullo, Peter Lullo and Katie Lullo; great-grandmother to Elizabeth, Andrew and Dev.
Providence was all about family and faith. Gathering together with her children and grandchildren and cooking a meal brought her the greatest joy. Providence’s Catholic faith defined her. She was the coordinator for the Perpetual Adoration Chapel at St. Linus Church in Oak Lawn for a dozen years. She hosted the Fatima statue in her home for many years where people came to recite the rosary. She was a longtime member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
Friends and family will gather for a visitation for Providence that will be held from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, February 4th, at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 West 103rd Street, Oak Lawn, Illinois 60453. A funeral Mass will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, February 5th, at St. Linus Church, 10300 Lawler Avenue, Oak Lawn, Illinois 60453. Interment will be at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
