I miss you more every single day that passes my Richie. Nothing makes sense anymore and nothing feels right. There isn't one second that goes by that I don't think of you and wish you were here. Love you now and always.

My dearest condolences. Richie "Chow" was a great person and he will be deeply missed. I always remember him as lighting up the room with his smile. I remember the first time I met him, and he was so shy, but afterwhile he just became like family. He was my nephew Aj's best buddy. It saddens me to know that he is gone, but his presence will always be there. May he watch upon us and guide us from above.

Rich: I did not know for many years, you worked with my sister lori. After hanging out with our family, you became apart of it. I'm sorry I did not get a chance to say goodbye to you, because the last time I seen you was at sox park when, you gave me, aj and my other nephew joshua a ride to the gate. You were always smiling and kind hearted, I will never forget that. Just remembering you, brings a smile to my face, but also tears because you are no longer with us. Our loss is heavens gain.  The world is less an incredible young man with a contagious smile.  My thoughts and prayers our with you durring this turbulant time of sorrow.

There are no other words than sadness to describe how we all feel.  We have always enjoyed seeing Richie, as well as everyone else at family get togethers.  It is hard to imagine him not being there.  Luke remembers a lot of great times playing with Richie.  It is especially hard for him to grasp what has happened.  Sonia has lost a future husband, the family has lost a wonderful son, brother, cousin, and nephew.  And the world has truly lost a special person.  His life will always be remembered and he will always be missed.

Chow I still can't believe that you are gone. 26 street will never be the same without you. We had good times up in the arrest room, hospital rooms, the bridge, midnight movies showings, anywhere we went it was always I good time. You will be missed but I know you will always be around. Till we meet again.

Chow you are already missed , The morning  Humorous greeting and our pepper spray Jokes, though always with a smile and its hard to believe your gone , but God has Better plans  .

I didn't work with you on a daily basis & hadn't talked to you since "In-Service" ! But , that week of In-Service was made more joyous , interesting, and of course " MORE TOLERABLE " because YOU were there ! We know your in a better place , but that doesn't help right now !!!!

   There were days that we had to go into the most dangerous of situations, to which you never faltered, never hesitated, and never retreated. Your courage, strength, and sense of humor will be missed by all of us. The CCB is a much sadder place without you, and Heaven is a much safer place now that 2159 is on duty. Godspeed my friend.

This is still so unreal to me. There are no words to describe what a wonderful person we have lost. You are one of my dearest friends and the only word I can find to describe what we had is...FAMILY. We worked together, we laughed together, we had each others back day in and day out. You listened to me when I had a problem, you made me laugh when I was down, you understood how much I missed u guys when I got moved (that's when we started the fist bump to show each other love. You made me smile everytime), we had all those "what if" debates, you made me try new foods (even when I didn't want to). I would not change any of it.  I love you as my brother, I miss you as my friend.

While I did not know Deputy Chow personally, many of us at 26th Street are stunned and saddened by his passing. My best wishes and deepest sympathies to his family and loved ones.

Joyce, Rich, Angela and Sonia no words or expression can describe the heartbreak we are feeling for your family and ours.  Richie came to us over 10 yrs ago as a friend of the kids. Over those years he became more than a friend to Steven and Laura he was their brother and our son.  The kids were inseparable, they did everything together.  When Richie got his driver’s license he came over every weekend and we often wondered if the phone was going to ring with you on the other end asking why Richie was over so much.  We are so broken hearted and the only comfort comes from believing that God has this perfect plan and Richie was sent to him to be a part of it. Thank you for sharing your son with us, you raised such a fine young man.  
Richie – we love you so much and will miss you for the rest of our lives and give praise to the day that we will see you again in Heaven with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

You are going to missed very much.  I remember all the good time we had when you were a kid.  Babysat both you and your sister when you both were little to seeing both of you graduate from high school and attend college.  You are the brother to me and my heart aches in pain to see you gone.

It's really hard to believe that your actually gone. No words can ever express how I feel. So many memories. Memories from our days at the front door to waking up to you & Daisy on the air mattress. You were so allergic. But, you would still come over to hang out. (After taking your medicine, that is) Memories of how hard I had to work just to get you to open up & be my friend to a conversation at the stoplight on Blue Island & Ashland. And don't forget A.J. "Chow is MY friend", he would tell everyone. You couldn't even get a moments rest with him around hanging from your neck or asking you to fix his toys. 
I guess what I really need to say is you are loved dearly & missed deeply. We will never forget you.

Richie’s unexpected departure from this world has sent shock waves though our families.I didn’t get a chance to know Richie much as an adult. Last year when I saw him I could see he had grown into a fine young man. He was happy, sharp, and very much in love with Sonia. My heart is so broken for all those who are closest to him.
During my childhood he was the "baby" cousin, and clearly the apple of both Richard & Joyce’s eyes. Our large family spent many holidays, reunions, and special occasions with each other.I have good memories of our times together, & I will dwell on the best of them. 
It is my hope that I will get to spend eternity with Richie, and the rest of my family for that matter.

Chow when I first heard that you were gone, I didn't believe it. And to a degree I still don't. You were as close to me as my own family. You invited me into you and your parents home and made me feel welcome. I just want to talk to you one more time, shake your hand one more time, hear you crack jokes one more time, and you be there to watch my back at work one more time.
