Romelia Andrade

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Romelia Aide Andrade, who passed away on June 21, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Serafin; her children, Victor Hugo (Edith), Angel, Omar (Abigail), Angelica Pareja (Jose), Eliseo (Juana), and Rafael; her grandchildren, Angel, Alejandro, Karina, Jocelyn, Cristian, Samantha, Serafin, Jennifer, Natalie, Angel (Junior), Cynthia, Daniel, Jonathan, Jaqueline, Liliana, Osiel, and Anahi; her great grandchildren Elijah and Alyzah. Romelia was known for her faith and unconditional love for her family. The matriarch of the family will be greatly missed but her presence will live on through her children and grandchildren.

A visitation for Romelia will be held Wednesday, July 2, 2025 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 West 103rd Street, Oak Lawn, IL 60453. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at 10:00 AM at St Gerald Catholic Church, 9310 S 55th Ct, Oak Lawn, IL 60453. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery & Mausoleum, 6001 W 111th St, Alsip, IL 60803.
