I really did not know Ronald personally, but surely in spirit, through his in-laws and his lovely wife and sister-in-law. ...So much life prevails with each of them.

It was pure joy to read the lovely memories from his friends. That says a lot about his life's story. He was surely loved.

It pains my wife and me as we waited, ...knowing that one day we would meet Ronald in Florida where we live close to his in-laws - the Nelson's - our good friends. We mourn the loss of Ronald Ticer, ... as it was in our hearts to soon meet him one day in person. However, we relish the memories written on this page.

We send our condolence to each of the families who had so much love for Ronald, and we pray that God hovers his blessings over the hearts of each one.

Ron was the operations manager at ABC Transportation when I was hired. I was working full time at another Bus company at the time, He was so consistent in keeping in touch with me to see how I was doing, and when was I coming over full time to work for them. I only briefly had a chance to get to know him before he left the company. He left a lasting impression on me because he had a genuine great spirit, awesome heart, and cared about the drivers. I just remember I wasn’t at ABC not even a week and, I hit, and scratched someone car. I was in acomplete panic mode, and just knew I was going to be fired. He just reassured me everything was going to be ok, and not to worry. From that first interaction with I knew he was someone special. R.I.P.(AKA. Chocolate Thunder)

So sorry for your loss. Ron was a great guy. I loved him like a little brother. I’m 21 yrs his elder and like brothers we had our differences. He could always make me laugh no matter how mad he would get me. One of my best memories was when he and I had a bet over bowling with my wife and niece. So we went to the bowling alley. Whoever lost had to dress up like a Oompa Loompa. Well we won and they had to do it. Then we paraded them around a few bars and gave hell. It was one of the best times out of many. Can’t talk about it without smiling.
Rest In Peace my little brother. My thoughts and prayers to the family🙏🙏

I remember when Kiersten first met Ron, and how very quickly they fell in love...it was quite magical (and obvious), to see the connection they had and also how Ron adored Kiersten. The Patrick family are sending our condolences to Kiersten and her family and Ron's family. God bless.

RT, after all these years I still haven't forget your laugh and fun times we shared back in the mid 2000's. As young men those were different times but perhaps even more special to grow and experience new things for the first time. It seems like just yesterday Timmy Casey, Bruce McGraw, and I would meet up at your basement apartment after work in Blue Island to watch football and have fun. It was almost a religious experience to meet up each Sunday and Monday night during football season so we could talk smack about fantasy football, watch sports, and calculate our fantasy football scores from the newspaper. Now as a Cubs fan I was out numbered by you Sox fans but a memory I 'll never forget is when you "stole" my SAMMY SOSA bobble head from my Bedding Experts location in Alsip with a ransom note! That was fun and I still have that bobble head which was returned to me accidentally broken but as good as new with glue! Between my first slice of your favorite pizza 'Beggars", eating at MR. SUBMARINE late night, or the feeding of your Ball Python every two weeks I'll think about you often now that your gone. However being gone is just a figment of our imagination as your spirit and soul lives on and these memories bring us together. Something I don't tell my friends enough is that I love them and without a doubt you were loved by more people than can be counted. RIP brother...
