Remember Rose and Diane from CVS, as my sister Carolyn Harmer attended school with them; and I knew Barb and Christine.  

So very sorry to hear of Rose's passing, and wish the entire family to know my sympathy is extended to all of them!

Rose was in the Class of January 1964 at Chicago Vocational High School. Many of us from Class of June  '64 remember Rose and sister Diane from all their activities. They were both in Sr. Girls Council and worked with us in Sr. Boys Council at many shows, tours and open houses. Always lots of fun to be with  and know them, including brief visits with Mom, Helen. Rest in peace Rose. Condolences to Diane and all the family.

Rose, I was shocked and deeply saddened  to hear that such a beautiful spirit had left this world.  You will be missed, but you leave behind such treasured memories.  You made a huge positive impact on my life, you were a great teacher, mentor and friend.  I thank you for making my Columbia College experience a great one, and for helping me start my broadcast career. Even after college you were still there willing to help, to offer encouragement and advice. I will always remember your warm and welcoming smile. My condolences to the family, she was truly a Gem!

Rose and I have been friends since High School.  We are diminished for loosing her. We will all miss Rose.  Na zisete na tin thimosaste.  May her memory be iternal.

I am so blessed to have had you as my cousin older by a few years. As children you told me beautiful, magical stories that I knew must be true because they came from you. You eased my way because you came before me.
You kept in touch even though our paths rarely crossed as adults. Your spirit never changed from the inspiring, kind and generous girl you were.
We never finished a discussion we started years and years ago about the writing of Kahlil Gibran...I use his words now to express my feelings.

I feel so honored to have been your student. I don't think there was anything you didn't know and your insatiable quest for truth and knowledge inspired everyone you taught and knew. You were always there for advice or to lend a kind word and so many of us have you to thank for where we are and where we're going. Without you, I wouldn't have seen the world! I will always cherish our Europe trip and the memories I made with you and my classmates.
I am so awed by all that you've accomplished and can only hope to have a career half as brilliant as yours was.

One of the things I will miss most about Rose are the stories she told. The most valuable lesson she taught me was the value in storytelling. Had I never met Rose I would have never believed that sharing a story maybe capable of saving lives.I didn't understand the power of film till I met her

Dear Rose,

     I have never met anyone like you nor will I ever. You are all the good and beauty in this world and you shared that with everyone who has come in contact with you. You have given me the greatest gift in life, friendship. Although I feel like I'm missing a piece of me, I will always keep you in my heart. I miss and love you very much.
