Sharon was born October 12th, 1958 in Chicago, IL to the union of Lena and Willie Stewart. She has 4 siblings. Mary Kruel, Joe Stewart, Linda Stewart and Alma Rea Washington.

She attended Gresham Elementary School, CVS High School and went on to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Chicago State University henceforth pursuing a career where she utilized her knowledge in the corporate profession.

Early in her life she devoted her life to God as a member of Grace Calvary United Methodist Church.

In 1984 she had her only child, Serrita Coleman and raised her with her loving parents and siblings. In 1996 she married the love of her life, Lank Hamilton Jr. and they built a beautiful life together.

She loved to dance as a child and listened to a variety of music styles. Her collection included Led Zeppelin, Prince, and Parliament. She was also a fan of hip hop and R&B. Sharon fiercely devoted her time to her family. Listening, advising and diligently working on their behalf to ensure their success.

She is survived by her loving husband Lank and daughter Serrita - husband (Arthur). Her doting granddaughter Sonni Rose, siblings Mary, Joe and Linda, nephews Alvi and LaVar, great-nephew LaVar Jr. and her uncle, aunts, and a host of relatives and friends.
