Loving mother of Rosann (Gary) Halick, cherished grandmother of Matthew (Shiema) and Brendan, dear sister to Frank (Marie) Miars and Helen, and dear aunt and great aunt, cousin, and friend to many.
Sophie was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Anna Miarczynski, brothers Edward (Marie), Mitchell (Patricia), Stanley (Adele), Walter (Irene), Roman (Belle), and Peter, and dear twin sister Anna (Harry) McCullagh.
Sophie worked for Sears, Roebuck & Co. for over 30 years. She loved her church and being with family and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Sophie will be held Tuesday, December 20, 2022, from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at St. Fabian Catholic Church,7450 W. 83rd Street, Bridgeview, IL. Immediately following, Sophie will be laid to rest at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery & Mausoleum, 7201 Archer Road, Justice, IL.
