Thomas William Benoit

Thomas W. Benoit, age 70, passed away on Wednesday, July 5, 2023. He is survived by his beloved brother, Timothy (Diane) Benoit; cherished nieces and nephews; Timothy M. Benoit, Kristen M. (Anthony) Potacki, Caitlin A. (Dennis) Little and Lauren D. Benoit; great nieces and nephews; Adaline, Raven, Kylee, Reya and Anthony. Preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Geraldine Benoit.

Thomas was a retired Area 1 Violent Crime Chicago Police Homicide Detective for 30+ years. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. Thomas will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A Memorial Service will take place on Friday, July 28, 2023, 4:00 pm, at Papa Joe’s Italian Restaurant 14459 South La Grange Road, Orland Park, Illinois. Dinner served at 5:00 P.M.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org). Blake-Lamb Funeral Home in Oak Lawn, IL entrusted with arrangements.
