To the Brown Family,
 I cherish the years growing up with our respective families investing time helping us to develop from children to adolescents then young men and finally adults. Each of our parents had their own special areas as part of our growth. One area Mrs. Brown was responsible for was cultural enlightenment, etiquette and broadening of our views of the world while making sure Greg did his chores (and I had to help) before we could go out to play. I will miss Mrs. Brown for the rest of my life. I know she made a difference for the betterment during my entire life and for that I am forever grateful. The other son.

And remained friends throughout their lives. Our families spent so many holidays together over the years....she was truly family

Dear Willis, Ruby , Little Willis and Family, 
Mrs. Brown will always hold a special place in my heart.  Her dignity, grace, sense of humor  insightful conversations, easy going personality and “ready” smile are all things that I will fondly remember.  And lets not forget our trips to the library and cruising local estate sales. She was a delight to be around.  It was a joy to be her friend ! 
May you find a great deal of peace, in the days ahead, knowing that she led a life filled with blessings and impacting the lives of others. 
May you also find comfort in knowing that she is now happy and peaceful, memory fully restored and in the loving care of Jesus.

Mrs. Brown was my Birthday Buddy, both of us born on June 2nd. Over the years, we often called each other to wish each other well on that day. It was always fun coming home from Northern Illinois University, and stopping by to visit with Mrs. Brown, who was always gracious, welcoming and warm. I’m grateful to have known her.

She was always pleasant and respectful which attracted us to her, to explore and learn more beyond the classroom. She was a grand lady that we all looked up to, answering the formidable challenge of helping aspiring Techmen. To the Brown Family:  It has been my pleasure to have shared my life with your mom and all of you.  My parents deceased now and all of us would gather and enjoy each others company many times through the years.  Willa sponsored me into my induction into The National Sorority of Alpha Kappa Alpha.   She will be missed.  
Know also that all of you are in my prayers.

My name is Kenneth R. Browning 
I remember Mrs. Brown dearly, because I was here hairdresser for almost 10 years. When I left Homewood estates to South Carolina my God Daughter became her stylist to the present day.

At the time I lived across the street from her son Greg whom I use to cut his hair also.
I remember her grandson delivering my daily new paper in a Benz. Mrs. Brown was always kind to everyone in my salon.

I loved listening to her talk it was a learning experience from a great elder. I asked my God daughter about her, and she always give me updates on how she was doing.

I will always think of her and smile.
 
Thank you, Mrs. Brown, for being a part of Browning/Majors lives.
