Alan was born to parents Diane and Raymond Nary in Rochester, New York. He is one of six siblings. Alan joined the United States Marine Corps at the age of 18, he retired after 20 years as Staff Sergeant only to return the very next day dedicated to them as protocol officer until he was no longer able to work. In late 2019 Alan was diagnosed with stage 4 Neuro Endocrine. As courageous as he lived his entire life, he bravely fought cancer for almost 3 years. He underwent multiple rounds of Chemotherapy, radiation therapy and, even brain surgery he did so with an “I got this” attitude. He was surrounded by his family and friends as he took his last breath. He is survived by his mother Diane, brothers and sister Matthew, Patti, Bill, and twin brother Michael, 4 children Sabrina, Kimberly, Christopher, and Issac, 2 daughters in law Michelle and Daniela and 3 grandchildren Lucas, Mia, and Elijah. To say Alan was loved, respected, and admired, would be an understatement. He would do anything to make you laugh whether it was making a sarcastic remark or showing you a funny video. He will forever be a wonderful son, brother, father, grandfather, and friend.
