Betty was the daughter of the late Leah and Raymond Matthews. She was preceded in death by her sisters June and Virginia and her loving husband of 64 years, Tom.
She is survived by daughter, Vickie Stafford, son, Jim (Susan) Currey, and daughter, Cindy Currey; grandchildren, Richard (Laura) Currey, Robert (Dawn) Liles, Sara (Brian) Wilkening, Matt (Vanessa) Currey, and Morgan (Evan) Murray; great-grandchildren, Dennis, R.D., William, Carina, Kenny, Savannah, Breelyn, Joshua, Calli, and Braden.
She was a homemaker and business owner. Tom and Betty owned two restaurants in Oceanside, Scandia Restaurant and Currey's Smorgasbord. After they retired the traveled the country in their RV and loved every minute of it. They were always back home for the holidays. Betty loved to read, play cards, and Vegas! But her greatest pleasure was spending time with her family. She was loved and will be missed all.
