Born in Beaumont, Texas to Wilmer Edward Strickland and Eleanor Pearl Burford, she was an only child.
She was happily married to the late Nicholas Howard Fadaol of Opelousas, Louisiana for 33 years, before his passing in 1990.
She lost her eldest daughter, Deborah Jean Fadaol, in 2021 at the age of 62.
She is survived by three daughters: Sharon Kay Corona, Cathrine Marie Fadaol, and Patricia Lynn Fadaol; her son, Anthony Joseph Fadaol, Sr.; four grandchildren: Michael Loyola Siliga, Jr., Anthony Joseph Fadaol, Jr., Juliana Jean Fadaol, and Nichole Maria Fadaol-Hatcher; and one great grandchild, Leilani Skyy Siliga.
She loved working with children, and was a caregiver for 25+ years, at the Courteau Child Development Center on Camp Pendleton Marine Corps Base.
She was a kind, caring, gentle, and loving person that touched the hearts of many people, and she will be deeply missed.
